How I got the shot

How I got the shot - Jasmin Jade

To capture the photo, I started by scheduling a session with a model who I knew would understand and help me achieve my creative vision. In my opinion, if you want to continue pushing the boundaries of your art and avoid burnout, you should not solely rely on client shoots. Instead, I recommend building a group of go-to models that you work with on a regular basis to experiment with new setups and ideas. This approach ensures that you always have fresh content, can continually create art, remain inspired, and avoid becoming stagnant

Here are 3 Tips for adding movement and emotion into your photos

If you want to take your photography to the next level, adding movement is a powerful way to create dynamic and engaging visuals. Movement can add emotion, energy, and life to your photos, creating a more immersive experience for your audience. In this blog post, we'll share some tips on how to add movement into your photography work and create truly compelling images.

  1. Use Panning Techniques

Panning is a technique where you follow a moving subject with your camera, creating a blurred background that emphasizes the subject's motion. This technique can be used for capturing a variety of subjects, from sports and action shots to street photography. To master this technique, you'll need to practice your timing and adjust your camera's settings, such as shutter speed and aperture, to get the desired effect.

  1. Experiment with Slow Shutter Speeds

Another way to add movement to your photos is by experimenting with slow shutter speeds. This technique can create a sense of motion blur, which can be used to create an ethereal, dream-like quality in your images. You can use this technique to capture a wide range of subjects, from waterfalls and rivers to city streets and night scenes. Keep in mind that you'll need to use a tripod or stabilize your camera to avoid camera shake when using slow shutter speeds.

  1. Capture Action Shots

Action shots are a great way to capture movement in your photos. To capture these types of shots, you'll need to be familiar with your camera's settings and adjust them accordingly to freeze the action. Some tips for capturing action shots include using a fast shutter speed, tracking your subject, and pre-focusing your camera.
